The Worcester County 4-H Center, home of Camp Marshall, features 275 unspoiled acres bordering Thompson Pond. For more than 50 years, it has been located in the rolling hills of Spencer, Massachusetts, just West of Worcester. The camp is owned by the Worcester County 4-H Center, a non-profit organization, and is governed by its Board of Directors.

OFF-SEASON RENTALS

Camp Marshall is available for private functions before and after our summer camping season. Group and family camping, retreats, reunions, weddings, training seminars, company outings, conferences and horse shows are just a few of its many uses.

Our facility offers a large commercial kitchen with dining hall, large function hall and numerous outbuildings for indoor activities. Rustic cabins provide sleeping accommodations for up to 150 people. In addition, athletic fields, a basketball court, and archery glen are provided for outdoor activities. Our scenic waterfront is the perfect setting for swimming, boating and canoeing; and the miles of wooded trails for hiking or horseback riding make our facility unique. The Worcester County 4-H Center Horse Facility

The Worcester County 4-H Center is also the home of the Massachusetts 4-H Horse Camp.The Horse Camp program and facilities, originated in the early 1960's, have grown from a small program, housed in one building to its present state. Today, the facility features three large riding rings, a sand dressage arena and cross country course. Our stables can accommodate up to 75 horses. Spacious fields and miles of marked and unmarked trails make this site ideal for any horse-related activities.

OFF-SEASON ACTIVITIES

The Camp Marshall horse facilities are available during the spring, fall and winter months to outside organizations for shows, events, training seminars and trail rides, winter snowmobile enjoyment and cross country skiing. We also offer dry storage for classic car, boats and RV's. This is available late Fall to early Spring with reasonable rates.
