Our horse camp offers a range of programs for the new rider to the advanced rider. The program has been developed to give campers a safe, fun and educational horse camp experience. Campers will spend most of the day participating in horse related activities. Horse Campers will also have an opportunity to experience some of the other programs offered at camp such as recreational swimming, evening activities and much more.* see specific programs for details

Saddle Up Overnight Program – A beginner horsemanship program for those children new to horses.
This program is designed for those campers who have had little or no riding experience (less than 5 riding lessons). And who do not have their own horse. Campers will spend the 1/2 a day learning horsemanship in our specially designed new rider facility. Campers will spend an hour a day learning basic riding skills. Campers will also learn good horse management skills, along with how to feed horses, groom, tacking up, and other basic horse care procedures. Campers will be able to participate in other camp activities of their choice such as swimming, boating, archery, arts and crafts and other fun camp activities. Campers by the end of the week should feel comfortable around horses and be able to ride at the walk independently. * This will depend on the child; safety is our first concern for our riders

In the Saddle Overnight Program A beginner horsemanship program.
This program is designed for those campers who have begun their riding experience (less than 20 riding lessons) and do not have their own horse. Campers will spend half the day developing horsemanship skills in our specially designed new rider facility. One hour of each day is dedicated to learning basic riding techniques. Campers will also learn horse management skills, how to feed horses, grooming, tacking up and other basic horse care procedures. This program also allows participation in other camp activities of their choice such as swimming, boating, archery, arts and crafts.
Suggested for Level Three Riders.
Ages 8-15 • Price $610 per week.
Horse Lovers Half/Half Overnight Program An advanced beginner/intermediate program. For children who do not have their own horse.
This program brings together young people who have a love for horses and want to enjoy the other activities camp has to offer.
The program is open to both English and Western riders. Following an evaluation, campers will be partnered with a horse for the week that is appropriate to their riding level. Campers, along with their assigned buddy, will be responsible for feeding, grooming, cleaning, and preparing their horse for riding instruction; however campers must be able to tack up a horse independently.
Campers will spend half the day at the horse barn and the rest of the day participating in other camp activities of their choice such as swimming, boating, archery, and arts and crafts.
Suggested for Level Four through Six
Ages 8-16 Cost: $610 per week
Bring your Horse to Camp – An advanced beginner/ intermediate horsemanship program for those children who would like to bring a horse to camp. (Campers are responsible for all care of their horses)
The program brings together young people who share an interest in horsemanship. Campers bring their own horse and participate in a variety of activities. The program is designed to offer an opportunity to explore new equine experiences, sharpening and testing skills while making new friends and having fun. The program is open to all riding disciplines. Campers will have a riding evaluation on the first day of camp. Campers will participate in workshops each day. Workshops could include the following: equitation, dressage, drill team, trail obstacles, games, schooling, fitting and showmanship, and stable management. On day one, you should bring your own feed, hay and bedding or make purchasing arrangements with the barn manager. * See Additional Horse Information Page for additional requirements
Ages 9-16 • Price $565.00 per week (fee does not include feed, hay or bedding).
Horse Lovers Program – An advanced beginner/intermediate horsemanship program for those children who do not have their own horse.
The program brings together young people who have been introduced to riding and the love of horses but, do not have their own. The program is open to English and Western riders. Campers will have a riding evaluation on the first day of camp. Campers will be partnered with a horse for the week that is appropriate to their riding level. Campers will share the responsibilities with a buddy for feeding, grooming, cleaning their stall and preparing to ride their assigned horse. Campers will participate in a variety of activities. Workshops could include equitation, games, drill team, trail obstacles, dressage, schooling, fitting and showmanship, and stable management. All tack, equipment and approved helmets are provided

Horse Masters Overnight Program
Week 2,4 and 6 Only
Riders must submit,along with thier registration form a letter of recommendation stating that they are suited for this program week.Placement in this program will be based on the ability of the rider on our horses. This week of camp is designed for those Riders that are at least an Intermediate level. The horse and child must be able to Walk, Trot, and Canter, know diagonals, and be able to Trail Ride independently. Horse and Rider will be offered any of the following classes: a Lesson, Drill Team, Jump Class, Trail Rides & Trail ride picnic.. Safety is our first concern for this program. Limited camp horses will be available for jump classes this week. Riding evaluation to confirm placement in the program. Lead Instructor has final placement authority.
Suggested for the Intermediate Rider and Up. Ages 10-16
